:: Race Horses
Race Horses This Welsh quartet is creating a lot of excitement and it's easy to see why: it comes from the excitement they create on stage. With roots in grooving 60's rock like the Beach Music scene and the Seeds filtered through the Velvets, Serge Gainsburg and early Pink Floyd, we have a medium-fi, tightly rocking band that plays songs songs songs. What a great idea!

:: Rachael Mcshane Band
Rachel-McShane Rachael’s band, featuring James Peacock (piano), Jonathan Proud (bass) and Adam Sinclair (drums), combine their eclectic influences to create interesting and exciting arrangements of traditional songs. Her debut album is rich with tales of many men, ranging from kind-hearted, well-meaning gentlemen to thieves, mysterious strangers and somewhat sinister characters. However it is the shrewd and audacious women who shine through in these traditional songs. Debut album ‘No Man’s Fool’ OUT NOW.

:: Rachel Harrington
Rachel Harrington Rachel Harrington comes from a Pentecostal upbringing in the state of Oregon; country, to be sure, but listening to her you'd think it was Appalachia in 1934, so convincing is her traditional song writing and her plaintive singing. This is not an affectation, it shows, as in Cormac McCarthy's novels, how close the past is to the present out in the country. In Rachel's songs the story comes first, but the music isn't far behind with her lovely voice and the stellar cast of musicians that accompany her on her just released second album, City of Refuge
