Nashville based Inventor/Singer-Songwriter Ned Evett returns to the UK after recording his sixth solo album, "Treehouse".

Dubbed “The world’s first fretless guitar rockstar” by Guitar Player Magazine, "The Glass Guitarist" has toured the UK extensively with guitarist Joe Satriani.

The son of an English teacher and an opera singer, Ned is the inventor of the glass-necked guitar, which is heavily utilised on both his recordings and live shows.

Ned’s genre-spanning January 3, 2012 release “Treehouse” is a 14 song diary of love, loss, redemption, and the future told in Ned’s mesmerizing voice, accompanied by Ned’s trademark fretless mirrored glass and steel resonator, the “Globro” and his glass-necked electrics. The album was produced by legendary musician Adrian Belew for Raging Krill records.

Ned describes fretless guitar as "playing slide guitar with slides on all your fingers", and his trademark fingerstyle playing has a unique sound that's been described in No Depression as "sounding too tough for most country records, too honest for most rock records, and too real for anything in between.”

-Something Else Reviews.com/No Depression says:

“…a layered, career-redefining success… From the ruckus-raising rockabilly of the opening ‘Pure Evil,’ to the shambling groove of ‘Break My Fall,’ to the cloudparting optimism of the title track to the curtain-falling darkness of ‘Say Goodbye to Both of Us,’ Evett bravely travels an outlander’s trail — sounding too tough for most country records, too honest for most rock records, and too real for anything in between.”
